During the World War 2, Anne Frank's family joined the Van Daan's secret annex to stay safe from them being captured. This hidden home was hidden by a book shelf so no one could find out.
Anne Frank Frank seemed to stay a bit more distant with her family and usually likes to open up to her diary.
Anne Frank doesnt like how Mrs.Van Daan talks about her to her mother. Mrs.Van Daan talks about the way she looks, talks, and acts. This gets Anne really mad and feels as if everyone is against her.
After Anne's mother hearing what Mrs.Van Daan had to tell her, the only things she could've done was confront her about those things. This fills Anne with rage and she cannot forgive her mother for this.
One night Anne was waiting for her father so they can both pray together at night. Her father couldnt make it so her mother came to pray with her instead. Anne let out that rage from earlier and rejected her mother. this left her mother in tears while leaving the room
Anne hadnt wrote in her diary in a while because she had the flu. During those times off she matured a bit. she looked back at her old entries and began to understand other peoples perspective. She understands her mother and wants to love her again.
