Storyboard Description

The theme of "The Monsters on Maple Street", a teleplay by Rod Serling, Is That you shouldn't be quick to blame others because sometimes you have false info and just be jumping to conclusions. On page 13, Tommy shouts "ITS THE MONSTER ITS THE MONSTER." Causing Charlie to act without thinking and shoot what he thought was a "monster" which turned out to be Vanhorn. This shows that everyone was on there toes and really acting without thinking. In conclusion, everyone on maple street really went off the hook jumped to conclusions, and took information from an unreliable source.

  • Everyone on maple street is having a normal day. But not for long.
  • CLIMAX
  • A Metior flys over head, or sp they thought it was a metior, Crazing everbody on maple street
  • FALLING  ACTION
  • Soon later all power went out, people tried to leave but everyone was in too much panic, only 1 had left before they were at each others throats
  • CONCLUSION
  • every one, sitting in horror afraid their neighbor thinking they might just be an alien.
  • all fighting not learning how to trust each other causing them to turn to violence now instead of words
  • And in the end, it was the aliens. And Tommy was right all along.
