  • Let's unite the colonies!
  • The Treaty of 1763
  • Fine!
  • The French and Indian War was conflict between the British and the colonists versus the French and Native Americans. It was a war to decide which nation would control the Ohio Valley. 
  • We won!
  • We lost!
  • Benjamin Franklin propsed the Albany Plan of Union which was a plan to unite the colonists against the French.
  • Stay away from here!
  • The Treaty of 1763 (The Treaty of Paris) ended the war in 1763.
  • NO TAXES!!
  • The treaty gave Britain Canda and the Ohio Valley. This meant that France lost land and power.
  • Britain imposed the Proclamation of 1763 on the colonists which prohibited colonists to go West of the appalachian Mountains.
  • The war cost Britain a lot of money so they began to tax the colonists. They became angry.
