Storyboard Text

  • The Arch started to get built in 1898 it was finished in 1958. It  took 60 days. Why did it take so long?
  • WHEN WAS THE ARCH BUILT?
  • HOW TALL IS THE ARCH? WHY?
  • The Arch is 636 feet tall because of it's shape. If it wasn't so tall it couldn't hold much people in it. If the Arches stilts were to small with to much people it could break.
  • The Arch is only famus for the tall nest it owns and it's zone. The Arch is in Missouri St.Louis.
  • WHY IS THE ARCH SO FAMUS?
  • Us on the way back to our aunt's house.
  • The Gateway Arch has stairs and a elevator. The stairs is a no no danger zone because there is no railing on the stairs and you would need to climb 636 feet up on skinny stairs. The elevator is something that you need to sit still in because if you don't you could catch your self leaning on the elevator door. The door is a polished glass so you could weigh just enough to break it.
  • DANGER ZONES!
  • The Arch is 636 feet tall and it is made out of solid steel.
  • FUN FACTS
  • The Arch has 6 stores under ground under it so you need to wait to get to the elevators in a big line.
