- Energy is very important to us, we can't live without it. So here are some ways we can save energy.
- Instead of Kevin leaving the lights on all the time, he could turn them off before he goes.
- As you can see here, Kevin was about to leave the room. He never turned the light off though. This is wasting a lot of electricity depending on how long he would keep the light on.
- Emma should make sure she turns the water off when it is not needed.
- Water runs under kinetic energy because of its movement
- Here we have Emma brushing her teeth. But if you look closely, you can see that the water is still on while she is not using it. This is wasting a lot of water.
- Instead Kate can use halogen incandescents light bulbs because they use less energy and last longer.
- While Kate is reading, she is using a regular incandescents light bulb. But that is wasting a lot of energy and electricity.
- After Sam is done on her computer, she leaves it on waiting for it to turn off.
- Instead she can un-plug her computer so it is not using electricity all night.
- Mike was about to go use the elevator, but his friend stopped him.
- Mike's friend told Mike to use the stairs instead because he won't use as much energy.
