Cherish and Live

Cherish and Live

Storyboard Text

  • When the school year came around I just did my best to avoid school. I did the chores around the house and cooked everyday for my parents to repay them for their generosity. I was just aloof, emotional unavailable, and hurt since none of my messages were ever replied to and I just felt completely alone. I rode my bike for like 3-4 sessions a day each for session for 2-3 hours long
  • Eventually sometime in October, one of my teachers and a close friend intervened and helped me out and I was kind of able to get some work done and I was barely able to pass the first semester.
  • November and December was like a time for me to develop as I became much more happier, joyful, and calm but not the same chaotic energy I used to have. I began seeing more to life and learned many life lessons from my parents and through biking and by this point had shorten to riding to 1 hour a day. I was finally developing interests and have my own personal life of which I've never really had before. My appearance completely changed and just everything changed.
  • January rolls around and I picked up gardening and made new resolutions while making better habits outside of school. Eventually though a close friend of my family passes and it was awful but accepting the death was much easier than before. I picked up more interests and hobbies like guitar, cooking, and more.
  • February was much more academically focused even though I'm stilling struggling to catch up on work. I find it joyful sometimes but since being at home it's been much more lovely to work outside and eat whenever I'm hungry.
  • It's almost been a full year in quarantine and social distancing. I've had my ups and downs, but what was important was the developments of my personal life, a new way of viewing life, and becoming much more independent.
