Buna was a veritable hell, No water, no blankets, less soup,and bread. At night we slept almost naked and the temperature was thirty below.
The Words in the qoute no water, less of everything meant that men during the holocaust were scared and deprived. This qoute is very powerful because it talks about what people had to go through during the holocaust as they waited and waited for help in the camps
The author uses short incomplete sentences toward the end of the book to give the readers a good idea about the story, The author did this because he was still in shock or still felt emotional and wanted to effect your mood and emotions throughout the story
