Storyboard Text

  • I love to DESTROY things!!!
  • We are going to do a coin toss!
  • The planet of Neptune was the farthest from the sun and it was home to the god Poseidon because his Greek name was Neptune. He was very lonely, but he was also tired of staring out into space every day. All he saw was stars as far as the eye could see.
  • He also had nobody to talk to and he would find himself talking to the stars in front of him. So one fateful day Neptune decided to create Pluto. The god of the underworld. Now, Neptune could talk to Pluto and when he stares out he will see Pluto and not stars.
  • Yay I won
  • Yay I won! I am so Happy! I will make Pluto Great Again.
  • Aww Man I lost ):
  • But, Neptune was wrong, Pluto became destructive and mean. Pluto destroyed the heavens to the point where Zeus had to stop him. Zeus caught Pluto when he was at the beach one day. And he told him, “You are in big trouble, Pluto.” Pluto replied, “ What have I possibly done to get in trouble?” “You have destroyed the planet KyYak. “ Zeus said in a rude tone. “ Yeah, What are you gonna do about it.” Pluto shot back.
  • The arguing went on forever until finally Zeus took Pluto by the arm and took him to god headquarters. Once they got there, he told him they were going to do a coin toss. Who ever wins would get to choose what happened to Pluto. Pluto agreed to this idea, he was very confident he would win the toss.
  • Zeus picked heads and Pluto got tails. They tossed up the coin and it landed on heads! Zeus won, he decided that Pluto would be sent to be a planet and not move or go anywhere. Zeus also said Pluto would have to decrease in size because Zeus wanted him to be recognized as something besides a planet.
  • So, he would not get as much praise as the gods other planets were named after because he was bad and the others were good.  Pluto thought he was being punished for no reason. However, Zeus told him he was wrong and would have to live a happy life as a dwarf planet.
