Simon writes an email to Blue explaining how he does like him and that he wants to meet up in person.
Hey, I know it's been a weird couple of weeks, but I just want to let you know that I know who you are, even if I don't know your name or what you look like. I also want to tell you that I'm ready to try this; I'm ready to meet you in person even if I don't know how it will end. I'll be at the carnival at 6:30. Love, Simon
After failing to find Blue all evening, he goes on the Tilt-A-Whirl (since he hasn't checked there yet) and is met by Bram, who reveals that he is Blue. The two hang out until the carnival is over and enjoy finally meeting in person.
Simon and Bram leave school for lunch and eat Oreos, Simon's favorite food, in Bram's car. Bram tells Simon that even though he's not "out" yet, he's willing to come out to be his boyfriend.
What do you want us to be?
I'm all in if you are
Simon jumps into Leah's car when she is dropping his sister off, and after convincing her to let him stay in the car he apologizes and they reconcile.
I'm sorry, Leah! I love you!
It's fine! But I'm not going to cry!
Martin sends Simon an email apologizing for all of the trouble he caused.
Dear Simon, I want to apologize for what I did; blackmailing you was so extremely wrong and I had no right to take your "coming out" moment from you. I don't expect you, nor am I asking you, to forgive me, but I just want to say that I am sorry for my unacceptable behavior. If I could go back in time, I would've blackmailed you into being my friend and left it at that. Sincerely, Marty Addison
Simon is watching the talent show when he is shocked to find out the last act is a band in which Leah plays drums and his sister Nora plays lead guitar. He is extremely proud of them and realizes people have many surprises.
