  • Hello my name is joanna sun. I am a meduim size star
  • Joanna is doing an interview with the head star department. Will she get the job?
  • Hello joanna please explain your life.
  • Will do Mrs. Blue,  a  long long time ago i was born. I was born in something called a steller nebula 
  • anyways inside a steller nebula greater and less gravity pulling together (protostar the making of a star)
  • Well how cool Mrs. Joanna
  • then it's almost time to go for me, all my outer layer expand from me and i turn into a white dwarf
  • After I became a protostar i become a main sequence star, which is what i am right now. After all of that all my outer gas layer expand and form me into a red giant. I really want to be one one day. 
  • As the main sequence star glows, hydrogen in its core is converted into helium by nuclear fusion. When the hydrogen supply in the core begins to run out, and the star is no longer generating heat by nuclear fusion, the core becomes unstable and contracts.

  • That story was lovely now i have a few questions for you.
  • second question  how can scientist find out the temp. of a star
  • ok first question,  How does the initial mass of a star affect its evolution?
  • Well, Hotter stars have shorter wavelenghts which means greater energy in other words hotter stars produce more energy  so blue stars are simply hotter then red because they produce more energy then red.

  • Why do hot stars appear to be blue? Why do cool stars appear to be red?
