When we arrived at the so-called "Indian Territory," our lives went downhill. The Cherokee tribe lost over 4,000 tribe members, and our culture suffered greatly as well.
Now, our lives are miserable. The open, hilly land of the west was not suitable for our hunting styles, so our tribe suffered great hunger. I don't think our ancestors could travel with us, and that is why we are having so many troubles. Why must this happen to us?
