  • The battle of Bosworth was fought on August 22nd 1485 between king Richard and Henry the Tudor between the lancaster and the york.
  • Henry had an army of 5000 men while Richard had 12000, Henry had an advantage because the stanleys were helping him, but at the same time Richards 12000 had about 4000 stanleys who werent entirely trusted.Lord stanley and William stanley both secretly gave money to Henry.
  • Richard held the crest of Ambien hill while Henry was at the bottom in more marshy land.
  • During the battle the stanleys who were on Richards side didnt fight they just stayed to the side.
  • Richards army was much weaker even though there was more in his army.
  • Henry the Tudor won the battle which started the reign of tudors and ended the battle or roses because of him marrying elizabeth, who was a york, so it ended the conflict
