The Day in the Life of a Roman
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hello! My name is Francesca Humetadio. I am 13. We are in the class they call Patricians. My father is a senator. He is a fair man, so the people trust him with making our laws.
I go to the bath every morning, to freshen up. I bathe in cold water, move to the nice, warmer baths, then to the super hot bath. Then, we scrape off the extra dirt with a special tool.
I then go back home and have the slaves make me a wonderful meal for lunch. I have to also dress up in all the jewels my betrothed sent me as gifts. I must wear all of the gifts to show others that I am betrothed.
Later, my mother tells me to help the slaves with cleaning and other chores, since I don't meet with a tutor. I usually just practice my skil by cooking dinner.
I go to the craft room to draw after chores. Here, I've drawn myself praying to our family shrine. This is when I am bigger.
I then go to the family shrine to pray. I pray for things like health and safety for my family, and asking the ancestors the watch over us.
