  • The British Army was well - trained, and were considered elite. Their professional battles techniques were a disadvantage to the Continental Army.
  • Unfamiliar Territory
  • What an odd place. Where are we?
  • Comparing to the Continental Army, the British were very wealthy, and had all their supplies. Britain was considered the richest country in the world.
  • Far from Britain
  • This is very far from our homeland.
  • In the Revolutionary War, the British Army had a total of 50,000 troops. The British Army even included 30,000 Hessians, who were mercenaries for King George III.
  • The British didn't care
  • I find this very meaningless!
  • The British Army had no idea where they were fighting.
  • The British Army was far from Britain, therefore, their ships took time.
  • British soldiers didn't think the Revolutionary War was a big deal. They thought the war had no purpose.
