  • In the mid 1700's, Britain and France were having a friendly conversation about who should have control over the most important piece of land in the entire world. *
  • *never mind, they're just fighting over Ohio.
  • The French decided to build Fort Duquesne in what is now western Pennsylvania.  This made the British very mad.
  • The British decided to get the help of a young man named George Washington to lead troops in the war.
  • The British overwhelmed the French and took two forts from them...
  • RUN AWAY!
  • ...However, French and Native American forces ambushed the British at Fort Duquesne.
  • RUN AWAY!
  • In a turn of events, the British came back and took Fort Duquesne.
  • RUN AWAY FOR REAL THIS TIME!
  • This is mine now.
