  • A brief overview of the history of your sacrament The Eucharist originated in the last supper of Jesus and his Disciples, in which he gave his disciples bread to eat and wine to drink, bread represents his body and wine represents his blood.
  • The significance of your Sacrament The eucharist is one of the most important aspects of Catechism as it refers to the “Real Presence” of Jesus’s body in the Eucharist.
  • Why and Whom the Sacrament is Received The Eucharist is given to you every mass as it is a sign of the holy communion it is important you consume the eucharist because it represents jesus’s body and blood.
  • Is there a similar ritual in another religion? If so, briefly Describe that Ritual. Hindusim Prasad, Hindu's believe that god feeds them the prasad, the prasad is a devotional offering made to a god.
