Antonio and Felix were heading to the gym after their incredible match, but who had won? They promised each other that there friendship would stay the same no matter what. They decided to leave the ring.
Great match Felix!
Yeah it really was!
Antonio and Felix promised to remain the best of friends after the competition, but it sounds like Felix is doubtful about it.
Of course not, we promised remember?
Hey our friendship won't be affected by this right?
Felix and Antonio decided to stay in and watch movies. Antonio switched to the news channel but he wasn't prepared for what he heard. The news reporter said, "And for those of you who didn't go to the golden gloves tournament... Felix won!" They were both shocked.
Antonio ran away from anger as Felix followed him. Antonio stopped in a diner. Felix tried to cheer him up since it was just a competition that didn't matter to him but Antonio didn't agree. Felix decided to take Antonio to the fair so they could talk it off there.
You will always be a champion to me!
I know that you think you're better than me.
The two friends headed to the arcade to resolve their problem. They both realized that there friendship has a way more value than the feeling of being a winner. They decided to finish it off with a friendly rematch just for fun.
You are right. I overreacted, I'm sorry. I value our friendship more than anything. I've just always felt like I've been hiding in your shadow.
We are both great boxers. The competition doesn't mean anything. Our friendship does though, and I don't want to lose it over this nonsense.
Instead of having a rematch they ran around the ring and gave each other boxing tips. They each helped each other improve on their weaknesses. This was something they valued about their friendship. They would always help each other improve. They would never let anything get between them again.
This is fun!
Yeah I'm glad we are friends! Let's never let anything get between us again.
