Storyboard Text

  • Hello Momma Bear I'm Goldilocks! I am here to teach you about the three Laws of Newton because you are a bear and you don't know.
  • Rawwwrrrr! Okay
  • The first Law of Newton says that when something is staying still it will continue to not move until something touches it.
  • That pretty cool! What is an example of that?
  • When you have your bowl of porridge and I push it that is an example of the first law. The bowl of porridge will stay still unless I touch it!
  • Wow, so I do that every day!
  • Hello baby bear! The second Law of Newton says that the heavier an object, the more force is need to make it move. So if you have a big bowl of porride you need stronger muscles to move it.
  • So, that means it would take more muscle to move papa bear than to move me, because I have less mass
  • The third Law of Newton says that for every action there is something opposite that happens. Like when you are fighting mama bear for a bowl of porridge, you are pulling in both directions so the force is going opposite ways.
  • RAWRRR! So cool!
  • So bears, I hope you learned about the three Laws of Newton! They will help you when you are growing older and learn about this stuff.
