The Colonist hung two lamps because they heard that the British were coming and they were looking for the ammunition and the Patriot leaders.
Arrived at Lexington
Paul Revere, William Dawes, and Samuel Prescott all headed to Lexington to warn the Colonist and to get prepared.
British Arrive

Paul Revere left the Colonies and was headed for Lexington.
Captured
When Paul Revere arrived he quickly got the word out that the British were on there way.
The British are coming!
The British were all lined up in there defense mechanism ready to fire but the captain said they wouldn't. Some one in the crowd yelled "Fire." So they did and 5 people died because of it.
While they were fighting Paul Revere got captured but Samuel Prescott and William Dawes escaped.
