“Francis looked at me carefully, concluded that I have been sufficiently subdued, and crooned softly, ‘Nigger-lover . . .’ This time I split my knuckle to the bone of his front teeth. My left impaired I sailed with my right, but not for long. Uncle Jack pinned my arms to my sides and said, ‘Stand still!’”(Lee 112) This quote show the ecternal conlfict that is happening in TKAM. Scout punches Francis because he was saying some rude things.
I think this Man vs Self because it's Scout sourt of vs herself. She is constantly being yelled at by her choices of clothes and how she acts. I think this is an innternal conflict because she doesn't want to conform what her aunt says, and how her aount yells at her for not wearing dresses.
I think that scout vs society is a hard thing to explain. I think that she at first in the book wears 'pinki tinted glasses' and by time goes on those glasses shatter and she see's how much conflict here is in the world.
