It was a difficult journey across the Atlantic Ocean for 65 days.
They left England because…

The Mayflower finally reached land, and they build a village.

Few months later, March 1621. The pilgrims met a Native American.
The natives tought them to cultivate pumpkins, beans and corn.
1750s, the British had 13 colonies on the east coast, but France and Spain also owned big areas of land in the north and wanted to influence the New world too.
