My character is Bill. Bill is a very insecure boy. He is afraid that people do not like him. He is scared that everyone will leave him. He lives in a town called Sitka. It has a population of 8,900 people. Bill gets off the bus one day to find that no one was driving the bus. He thinks he sees blood in the distance.
Bill is looking around at his school, and he sees no one there. Bill stops. Bill is very scared because he sees a dead body in his locker, and it's his brother's body. Bill now must find out what happened to his brother.
Bill is sad that is brother is dead, and he is shocked because he can't find someone to help him. Bill is alone, his brother is dead, and for some reason, he thinks that it is all his fault. He runs outside to find someone. Bill has had enough of people not being there when he needs them.
Bill is fed up with everything. His brother is dead, no one is around, and he is all alone in the world. Bill was always insecure, but this just pushed him over the edge. Bill climbs to the tallest hill, and Bill decides to jump. He is walking to the edge. He changes his mind and starts walking back, but... he trips!
Now the town is completely empty. Forever empty because Bill couldn't stand to live a day alone in his town. The town of Sitka will always be known as a ghost town. Or so we thought.
Bill's family arrives that very night. They wonder why Bill didn't want to come on vacation, but they are okay with Bill's choice to stay home. They look for Bill, but they can't find him. They think that Bill is fine, and they decide to give the search a rest. They ask the bus driver, but there was no one there. Little did they know that Bill gave up to, just not in the same way as them.
