Storyboard Text

  • What is it that I have again?
  • Alright, well you have an infectious disease meaning a disease that is caused by microorganisms that invade the tissue.
  • Bye!!!
  • I'll see you later but remember to take the antibiotics daily so the microorganisms go away
  • First, a virus is a biological agent that reproduces inside a human. Second, bacteria is a microorganism that causes infectious diseases. Third, a fungal disease is simply any disease that starts with fungus. Lastly, protozoan infections are paristic diseases causes by organisms.
  • Since you are in training you need to learn the basics
  • You are different than your brother. You have a non-infectious disease meaning that the disease you have is not contagious
  • For example some non-infectious diseases are diabetes, cancer, and Alzheimer's.
  • They are caused through genetics or lifestyle choices.
  • But how did I get it though?
  • You treat them by taking antibiotics daily and prevent them by making Georgina eat healthier and making better choices about her health!
  • How do you treat a non-infectious disease and how do you prevent getting them?
