- THIS IS AUGUST PULLMAN. HE WAS BORN WITH A FACIAL DEFORMITY. ALTHOUGH HE DOES ALL THE THINGS A NORMAL KID WOULD DO, HE DOES NOT LOOK NORMAL
- Mrs. Pullman explains Auggie that it is time for him to go to public school with other children.
- His mom arranged a tour of the school for Auggie. Jack and Charlotte were really nice to me but Julian was not.
- What's up with your face?
- Auggie finally makes a friend named Summer. While, other still made fun of him and teased him.. They made their own table at lunch
- Auggie decides to wear a ghost costume at school and overhears his friend Jack talking making fun of him with Jullian.
- I would kill myself if I had a face like him...
- His sister Via is trying to solve her own problems. She lost all of the friends she had in middle school and acts like she has a ride back home to avoid her old friend Miranda. She ends up getting new people to hang out with.
- Hey Miranda, you don't have to take me home. My mom will pick me up.
- Jack figures out why Auggie was upset with him and he also realized that he lost a friends he really wanted to be friends with.
