1944 Stalin deports Crimean Tatars- 200,000 Tatars are deported to Siberia and Central Asia. This is due to false Nazi accusations.
1954 Nikita Krushchev transfer- The Soviet leader transfers Crimean Peninsula to Ukraine. This ends with capture of Ukraine Insurgent Army.
1960 increase in covert position- The Soviet Rule had a huge deal with this. This lead to repression of dissidents in 1972
1986 Nuclear Power Station- The chernobyl explodes and sends plumes across Europe. There was an effort to control damage with concrete cover ups.
1990 Crimeans Return- 250,000 Crimean Tatars and their descendents return to the Crimea. This is following the collapse of the Soviet Union.
