  • Declaration of Independence
  • FREEDOM AT LAST!
  • YESSSSSS!!!!
  • And now I am proud to announce that the Declaration of Independence is final.
  • Principle 1- All men are created equal
  • It's about time people are treated fairly no matter their skin color or religion.
  • Hey Bob! Listen, there's a job open where I work. I think it's perfect for you.
  • Hey Sam! Thank you so much I will keep that in mind.
  • Principle 2- All people have basic rights that cannot be taken away
  • Man I am I glad people have the right of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.
  • The people who wrote the Declaration of Independence is Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Robert Livingston, and Roger Sherman. They wrote this because it is to announce and explain the separation from Great Britain. This paper was approved on July 4, 1776 in the Independence Hall, Philadelphia, PA.
  • Principle 3- The Government gets it's power to make decisions and protect rights from the people
  • We want Franklin, we want Franklin!
  • This right is important because no man will ever be treated differently because of their color or religion. Today this law applies to men and woman as well.
  • Principle 4- When the Government does not protect the rights of the people the people have the right to alter or abolish the Government.
  • No we are altering this new law and making it so that the citizens vote and not the Government.
  • This year the Government and I have decided that citizens wouldn't vote this year for president.
  • This is important because people have the right to have life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. These rights cannot be taken away from them.
  • Today, Principle 1 is best upheld
  • Hi I'm Barack Obama and I am the first African American president. The 1st principle allows me to be able to do this.
  • This right is important because without it no one would be able to vote for president of the United States.
  • This right is important because citizens have the right to change or abolish anything they think is unfair. Also if people are being mistreated the citizens have the right to
  • The principle of Government that is best upheld today is the 1st principle because everyone even women are created equal and now there are no more slaves or rules saying you can't sit here or practice this religion.
