  • This is our land!

  • Sugar and Stamp Act
  • This is outrageous!
  • I don't know what to tell you guys.

  • No Taxation without representation!
  • The Proclamation of 1763 was an act where there was an Imaginary line through the Appalachian Mountains. They did this in an attempt to stop expansion on the Western Frontier and to stop fighting between Colonists and Native Americans. They didn't abide by the rules and continued to expand.
  • Townshend Act/Reaction
  • The Sugar and Stamp Act were taxes made by the British where taxes were raised on sugar, stamps, and other goods. This angered colonists and caused the economy to crash because of the increase on these newly taxed products.
  • Boston Massacre
  • Be careful guys, we don't know what they'll do.
  • "No Taxation without representation" is a belief the colonists felt should be applied in the colonies. They believed they should have more say in the taxing.
  • Boston Tea Party
  • Make sure it's all gone.
  • The Townshend Act was a new tax placing taxes on even more items like paint, lead, and many other products. In spite of these taxes, colonists started to come together and boycott British made goods. Since colonists boycotted, Parliament had to repeal the taxes.
  • I love all these new American products
  • The Boston Massacre was a dispute between British Soldiers and the citizens of England. A large group formed and the people started yelling and throwing things, this made soldiers panic. 5 soldiers were killed, including most famously Crispus Attucks.
  • You guys are the worst, leave now or else...
  • The Boston Tea party was an event that occurred on December 16th 1773. A large group of colonists dressed as Mohawk Native Americans rushed the ships on the harbor and dumped 342 chests of tea in the water!
