  • Siddhartha left the palace 4 times to see life outside the palace, even though his father wanted him isolated In the palace.
  • This man seems to have a peace of mind and must be holy.
  • Siddhartha Gautama saw 3 other people. One corpse, and old man, and a sick man. All of these things were known as suffering.
  • I have achieved the understanding for the cause of suffering. I have been enlightened.
  • The Buddha reached nirvana. He was able to be released from pain and became selfless.
  • After sitting under a fig tree for 49 days, Saddartha reached enlightenment and was now the Buddha. He also had practiced acecitsm
  • The Buddha had a talk and here, was where buddhism started.
  • The Buddha accepted reincarnation as an idea for the religion. The Hindus have reincarnation as well.
  • These will be known as the 4 noble truths. Follow the eightfold path to become enlightened
  • The Buddha practiced the middle way. This means that he lived neither rich nor poor, he lived in the middle and anyone else who was a buddhist must do the same.
  • I have reached nirvana, and I feel free from selfishness and pain.
  • The Buddhas have Nirvana which is similar to Moksha. They both involve a perfect state of understanding. The Buddha left the caste system out of buddhism as he felt it’s unfair.
