  • Bats only are out in the night time and when there's daylight, they hide in dark caves. They have a system called echolocation, which helps them find food and navigate to where they are going since they are blind.
  • When it's daylight, bats hide in dark caves to be hidden and not see light/sun.
  • One single bat can snatch over 600 and 1000 mosquitoes and other insects in just one hour!
  • Bats are about 1,000 of the species out of 5,000 species of mammals on Earth!
  • Bats' wings are 1.5m long from the edge to the body.
  • Megabats rely on other vision to find food.
