  • Who is involved in direct democracy?  Who is involved in representative democracy?
  • In direct democracy citizens were aloud to vote which are men 18 or older and born in Athens. 
  • In representative democracy representatives get votes from citizens who vote in a certain area.   
  • Representative democracy is when the people in that area vote to a representative that says most people voted for this so I will vote for that.    
  • The difference is, direct is everyone votes by themselves/ for themselves.
  • What is the difference between direct democracy and representative democracy?
  • When did direct democracy begin?  When did representative democracy begin?
  • Representative democracy began in the United States of America.  You voted to a representative than the representative voted for what most people voted for.  
  •  Direct democracy began in Athens they said that if you were you were a boy that is 18 and born in Athens than you could vote because they are considered citizens.
  • Where did direct democracy begin?  Where is representative democracy used today?
