In direct democracy citizens were aloud to vote which are men 18 or older and born in Athens.
In representative democracy representatives get votes from citizens who vote in a certain area.
Representative democracy is when the people in that area vote to a representative that says most people voted for this so I will vote for that.
The difference is, direct is everyone votes by themselves/ for themselves.
