During the aftermath of the first civil war, there was still violence in the area where it took place in the area. This violence ended up leading to multiple rebel groups to form and cause mischief within the area and would eventually lead to the Second Civil War.
As a result of the aftermath of the first war, there were multiple revenge killings and militia groups who were in charge of some of these attacks. One of these attacks were on the US ambassador which ended up killing him and three others.
With the effects of the war, Libya's oil facilities have collapsed as a result. Most facilities have been damaged or blocked as of now with the ongoing war and now only have a small fragment of what it once was.
Now, the cause of the First civil War was that the people of Libya thus they began to fight against their government of Muammar Gaddafi and seek out of it.
And, as with all was, there have been many deaths that came from it. About 2,080 people have been killed so far as a result and there could be possibly more if it continues.
On April 11th, 2016, the former president, Barack Obama started that this is probably the worst mistake in his presidancy.
