  • I am Peter Pettigrew. I am the antagonist of the book. I also am the one who kills Cedric in the climax.

  • Inciting EventThis is the inciting event because without Harry's selection, the book's plot would not develop. Harry's selection is crucial because he is the reason the tournament goes wrong.

  • I am Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts. I am the one who reads the selection by the goblet for the Tri-Wizard Tournament.
  • Rising ActionThe Tri-Wizard Tournament is a tournament between wizardry schools that comprises of three challenges. Harry and Cedric are representatives of Hogwarts. The first challenge is to take an egg from a dragon while riding a broomstick. Harry is able to take the egg.
  • Rising ActionIn the second challenge, Harry must free his friend, Ron, from mermaids, Harry is able to free Ron from the mermaids.
  • ClimaxIn the third challenge, Harry works together with Cedric to go through a maze. The maze has the trophy in the center. When they get to the center, they both touch the trophy at the same time, so they could be co-champions. The trophy was a portal to Voldemort's assistant, Peter Pettigrew. Peter kills Cedric.
