What's up buttercup! We are group 1 of grade 10 Microsoft! Today we will be presenting our PBL.
Since the start of the pandemic, we've all had to stay in our homes to avoid getting infected with the coronavirus. As a result, we all rely on our phones to keep in touch with one another at our own homes. But did you know that when you use your cellphone, it emits low levels of non-ionizing radiation?
Radiofrequency (RF) energy is the term for the sort of radiation emitted by cell phones. Cellphones, on the other hand, aren't the only items that emit electromagnetic radiation. Microwaves, for example, are devices that heat food.
Nevertheless, we should not overuse these goods, despite the fact that they keep us entertained. Because the overuse of these items can cause harmful things to use, like the overuse of our cell phones or smartphones, for example, can lead to a variety of physical issues that can be permanent or difficult to treat, including: Eye strain caused by the technology because of the pain and discomfort of staring at a digital screen for more than 2 hours.
The eyes begin to itch and burn from it. Microwave radiation is another example, because it can heat body tissue in the same way it heats food.
Microwave exposure at high levels might result in a severe burn. The eyes are especially vulnerable to RF heating because they have very little blood flow to take away excess heat.
