Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Cinderella. She had golden blonde hair and was the most caring, thoughtful person. Her mother had died when she was just a baby. Her father fell in love again and got remarried to an evil woman. Along with her evil stepmother came two evil step sisters. One day her father left on a trip with the king and never returned. Cinderella was left alone with her new evil family.
One night the family had been invited to the royal ball. Cinderella was happy to go to a royal ball since she hadn't been to once since her father died. Her evil stepmother had other plans for Cinderella; she was to stay and make her sister's new dresses and clean the house. Cinderella was upset she couldn't go to the ball, but obeyed her mother's wishes.
While her family was at the royal ball, Cinderella made the dresses and cleaned the house. While Cinderella was cleaning the basement, a fairy godfather visited her. "Cinderella why do you look so sad?" he said. "I am not allowed to go the ball" she said "Nonsense, everyone must be at the ball! Hurry up and get to the ball." With the wave of his hand Cinderella was given a new dress and headed to the ball.
At the ball, Cinderella met the prince. They danced for the whole evening. They were inseparable and it was love at first sight. The evil stepmother noticed Cinderella at the ball and her rage filled her. She went up to Cinderella and took her home immediately. The prince never got Cinderella's name.
Once Cinderella got home, she was upset that her evil stepmother ruined her fun with the prince . Her godfather told her "Everything will work out how it's supposed to be." and he disappeared. Cinderella composed herself and went back to her room.
Two months after the ball, Cinderella went into town to find something for her evil stepsister's birthday. It just so happened that the prince had to go into town too. He noticed Cinderella walking into the shop and followed her. Cinderella noticed the prince behind her and was filled with joy. The prince proposed to Cinderella as soon as he knew she was the same person from the ball.
