I was at a dance convention. We did all the dance styles but hip-hip, and that was never my favorite style. I wouldn't have gotten picked out anyways since I wasn't that good at it.
So I went to my mom and told her I wanted to leave the dance convention.
But she told me to keep on trying and to go back out and dance for her. I loved showing my mom the new dance skills I learned, so I went back out.
Little did I know that the dance teacher wasn't watching anyone else but me.
He came up and talked to me about how good I was doing. He told me to do the dance again to show everyone the passion they should be having while dancing.
I left the convention feeling proud and useful. I also developed a liking for hip-hop.
