Wes was taken to his grandmother's house so that his mom could go out with her friends. When they got there, Wes went running straight to the kitchen but stopped when he saw a stranger sitting in the living room. When Wes's mom walked in, she looked at him and said, "Wes, meet your father."
Wes played football. When he moved to Northwood, Woody was the first friend he made. Most days, he would call and see if he was coming out. Before this, Wes played on a rec team in Cherry Hill which was one of the best rec teams in the nation so he took every chance he could to get out and play.
While playing a game, he got rough and pushed a kid around. The boy didn't take it lightly and told Wes to back off. Wes, not believing in taking it easy denied the boy his personal space. The kid punched him in the face shocking Wes and himself. Later on, Wes was coming after him but was intercepted by the police getting arrested along with his friend Woody who was trying to stop them.
