Storyboard Text

  • Did you know that Rain and weather cause rocks to release phoshate ions into the Soil and the Water!
  • Thats what I heard, and that plants take up these phosphates only to be consumed by animals
  • Wait a minute. If animals eat the plants, then what happens next?!
  • The plant or animal decomposes and releases the phosphates back into the ground.
  • Then that is the end of the cycle right?
  • Wow!!! that is actually so cool. It wasnt even hard to remember what you said either
  • There are actually two more parts, and these are the coolest parts of the cycle yet
  • Special bacteria in the ground break up the phosphates into smaller particles called Phosphorus
  • Then the phosphorus in the soil end up in water ways, gets mixed into sediments and repeats the prosses
  • My turn to tell you about the water cycle
  • The water cycle? All I know is that water gets evaporated turning into clouds
  • Oh yeah, then the water forms streams that flow back to the ocean or lake or even river
  • Yeah. It forms clouds (Condensation) the gets pushed over torward land and rains called Prisipitation
  • We learned about the Phosphorus cycle and the Water Cycle
  • The end
  • (Sigh)
  • Our boat is gone... best friends forever?
