  •  Ismarus
  • Lotus Eaters
  • Cyclops
  • Odysseus character trait in this land is cautious. The Quote to show this is from lines 44-44,"Plunder we took, and we enslaved the women, to make division, equal shares to all-but on the spot I told them:'Back, and quickly! Out to sea again'". At this land the Cicones attacked Odysseus and his men for raiding there city and killed 72 of Odysseus men.
  • Aeolia
  • In this land the character trait I chose was reliable. To support this in lines 101-105 it says,"I drove them, all three wailing, to the sip, tied them down to their rowing benches, and called to the rest,'All hands aboard; come, clear the beach and no one taste the Lotus, or you lose your hope of home.’” Three men ate the Lotus and wanted to stay there forever but Odysseus took them out.
  • Laestrygonians
  • I picked Boastful for the character trait in Cyclops. he reason for this is,"Cyclops, if ever mortal man inquire how you were put to shame and blinded, tell him Odysseus, raider of cities, took your eye: Laertes’ son, whose home’s on Ithaca!”(lines 457-460). Six of Odysseus men were eaten by the cyclops.
  • Aeaea
  • Odysseus and his men almost get home but they open a bag of wind the King of Aeolia and blew them away and back to Aeolia were the king sent them away because they were cursed.
  • In this land 11 ships were lost with the men in them but Odysseus with the men on his ship are saved.
  • I chose Romantic as Odysseus character trait. In the story it says that he spends a year with Circe in her bedroom. Circe turns half of Odysseus men into swine and one man dies.
