Storyboard Text

  • 1 At the beginning of the poem it gives us an introduction of the highwayman and the Bess.
  • 2 After that then it talks about what the highwayman wears and what he looks like.
  •         3                Then the red coats come and capture Bess.                         
  • repetition- "There look for me by moonlight, water for me by moon light"
  • 4 Then after that Bess is tied up and has a gun pointed at her chest.
  • rhyme- "They fitted never a wrinkle. His boots were up to his thigh. And he rode with a jeweled twinkle.
  • 5 After that Bess puts her hand on the trigger and kills herself to send a warning to the highwayman.
  • repetition- "Till now on the stroke of mid. Cold on the stroke of her mid."
  • 6 Then at the end he goes and then sadly he gets shot and die.
  • repetition- "The trigger at last was hers." The tip of her finger touched it."
  • sound- "blank and blare in the moonlight"
  • repetition-  "His pistol butts a twinkle, his twinkle hit, under a jeweled sky
