How do the different amount of fertilizer affect the way corn grows?
Ask a testable question
I'm going to research about what may be the best fertilizer on my laptop. then i will use it on my crops.
Research the problem
I think that 125 liters of fertilizer will help the corn crop grow a good amount. I think this because I want to grow the perfect amount of corn.
Create a Hypothesis
I split the field in 3 equal parts. Then on each section i put different type of fertilizer. I put 50 liters of fertilizer on the right. then 100 in the middle and 150 on the left. on a different part of land I put water only
Consant Variable- time, same amount of land
Dependent Variable- How many ears of corn grew
Independent Variable- Amount of fertilizer
Perform an Experiment
After a month the section of 50 liters of fertilizer there were 60 ears of corns. The section woth 150 liters of fertilizer had 250 ears of corn. The section of water had 20 ears of corn
Overall my hypothesis grew the right amount of corn. I think this because with water it only grew about 20 ears of corn and with fertilizer it grew much more
