A better future awaits for you there, please listen and leave before it's too late.
No mom, I won't leave you here with him. We will all go together like we had planed.
The plane left us all, we were worried that my mother's situation was going to get worse. Luckily my father was already making phone calls to any contacts that worked along with the guardians. But no one was able to do anything. If only the magazine picture hadn't been taken we wouldn't have to go through this trouble.
My father paid a very high price in order for my mother to be released and once again be living in "freedom". I bought another ticket for France but this occasion they didn't come with me. They couldn't risk something like this happening again. I left for France once and for all. And I had regrets for the first couple of days for asking my parents to come along. I should have been fine on my own and not asked for anything further. My mother could have been in so many problems.
In France I was attending a school that helped me develop my art skills further. When I would get to my home I would often catch myself thinking about Iran and my family. Art was my way to express my life living there.
I visited my family in Iran and had but had to keep a few things in mind. Remembering my wear my veil continued to be crucial just as my manners. But other than that I was filled with excitement to show my parents what I had been working on while being in France. A book of my own life in Iran during the periods of time where we all experienced constant change and fear.
Mom ! Dad !
Let's go home there's a lot to talk about. I'm happy to be here with you too.
I am so happy to see you. How has France been?
These are drawings of me in Iran, and bit of my journey. I still have more to add but I wanted to show you this.
Marji, you continue to amaze us. You are so talented.
