  • The Things I Carry
  •  Something I Keep
  • School Item #1 : Pencil
  • School Item #2 : My Phone
  • I keep a purse that my grandfather gave me when I was really little. He made me a purse out of ramen noodle packets.  He was in prison most of my life so I don't really know him except that he made me this really cool purse. I've kept it since I was a little girl and I plan to keep it forever.
  • Memory #1
  • The first thing I need to make it through a full day of school is a pencil considering the fact that three of my classes are core classes and one elective. I need a pencil because I always have to take notes or in order to complete my work. I also need a pencil to write my name on my paper.
  • Memory #2
  • The second item I need to make it through a full day of school is my phone. I use my phone to post on snap chat throughout the day. I also use it to text my friends and my mother throughout the day. I also use my phone just in case I need to email my teacher about my work or assignments. Also I use my phone to listen to music which helps time go by in my classes.
  • One memory that is very important to me is the day I received the Female Athlete of the Year award. I received this award my 8th grade year at Broadview middle school.  I received this award because I improved so much on my attitude from seventh grade. This award made me realize that hard work pays off and I made my grandma so happy who's standing beside me in the picture. She cried tears of joy when she witnessed me get this award.
  • This picture represents the memory of me switching schools. When I was in fourth grade I switched from Grove Park to Newlin. Once I was at Newlin I started to act out and catch an attitude with my teacher and kids. I really didn't like this school that much. Also in my class it was a group of girls that were "friends" but each week it was a new girl that was excluded from the group which I really didn't like. I'll never forget this memory because it really taught me not to be a bully.
