  • Exposition
  • It was a train horn this time
  • What does that mean?

  • I'm finally free to be myself!!
  • Climax
  • The year is 2081, everyone in society is equal. If you are above the governments normal you get a handicaps. George is very smart  but has handicap in his ear, so he can't overthink things. Hazel is George's wife, she is not very smart so she has no handicap. Harrison is their son, Harrison is locked up because he is so above normal.
  • Falling Action
  • -Hazel tells George that it is okay for him to take off his handicaps. -Harrison escapes from prison and overtakes the news station.    -Harrison takes off his handicaps and takes one of the ballerina's. -Harrison makes the band play music, while him and the ballerina dance                                                        
  • Resolution
  • Whats wrong?
  • Harrison Bergeron and the ballerina get shot and die for going against the government.
  • Literary Device 
  • -Diana tells the musicians to put their handicaps back on or they'll die. -They tv goes black and Hazel forgets everything she just saw
  • Put your handicaps back on or you'll die too!
  • George and Hazel don't know their son, Harrison died and they just go back to living the life they know to be normal.
  • Something on the tv but I forget
  • "The bar snapped like celery"(Vonnegut 39). The author writes this when Harrison breaks his headpiece. When the author says this it helps show the strength of Harrison and how powerful he is.
