- This is the Licorice family.The Licoricie family lived in pre indepence Jamaica. Timmy is a very helpful perosn. Milton is very responsible and brave. Grandpa is a famer who works on his farm to provide and help his family.
- Exposition
- Grandpa was going to the market on his donkey Merrie . Merrie went wild and collided with a truck . In the incident grandpas leg was amputated
- Conflict
- When Grandpa returned he heard that Red Gal was pregnant. He later then proposed to sell her, knowing that since his leg was amputated he couldnt work/provide for the family again.
- Stop' er, Hold' er
- Fight between Milton and Jester.
- Rising Action
- Milton became the Breadwiner/The Boss of the family. He made a timetable to restore order in the house. This contained a list of chores that included the making of the fish pot.
- Fish pot got washed away by the flash flood.
- The fair turned out well for both Milton and Margaret and Timmy, they earned money.

- Allan, Milton and Timmy preparing the hoss for Grandpa's Christmas Gift(the buggy)
- Grandpa now got his Christmas gift, and could go to church and do his chores.
