John crosses the river where he "came to the Place of the Gods, I was afraid, afraid" and experiences issues due to "the current of the great river is very strong" where he feels a great sense of inferiority but overcomes them as he learn to navigate the river and gets to the Land of the Gods.
Later, John enters a room where he saw a dead god and "thought that he was alive". John " was afraid to approach him - then the fear left me" and thus was reborn.
Return With The Elixir
After realizing the god was dead, John "knew then that they had been men, neither gods nor demons" and that "they went a dark road, but were men." With his knew knowledge, John learned the truth of the gods.
Once learning the truth, John "had no fear after that." He then left the Place of the Gods and "had no fear going home".
John returned home where "I prayed and was purified" and told his father the truth of the gods that "they were men!" Together, they decided to reveal the truth little by little and saw their society begin to grow using John's knowledge.
