Parris has been sad about his daughter Betty not waking up. Then, Abigail comes to talk to him about a rumor about witchcraft and wanting him to deny it. Parris was really disappointed about it because his niece (Abigail) and daughter (Betty) were involved.

Betty wakes up and starts arguing with Abigail. They start arguing about Abigail not telling Parris about her drinking blood in order to kill Goody Proctor. Abigail gets mad because Betty wont stop talking about it and smashes her across the face then, Betty starts crying in the bed.

Abigail has a big crush on John Proctor and wants him to herself. Abigail had an affair with John Proctor and she keeps bugging him about it. John says that he feels nothing about her and Abigail keeps insisting that he does.

Abigail is blaming Tituba of making her and Betty drink blood. Tituba gets mad at Abigail for lying and blaming thigs on her. Parris and Mrs. Putnam are both shocked to hear this.
Proctor to Elizabeth is trying to convince Proctor on going to Salem. Elizabeth wants him to go to tell the court everything was a fraud. John doesn't really want to go but Elizabeth really wants him to go.
Proctor is tired of Elizabeth judging him for his past incident with Abigail. Proctor starts to defend himself because he cant take it anymore. Elizabeth does not believe she judges him.
