- why is she in the front of the class
- when melba comes to school she harasses by the other student in her school. Melba gets slapped, spat on, and chased by other students. And when it was her birthday they destroy her clothing the one she liked so much. These are some small examples of what she has to go through in her school and this is what we call racism bullying someone for their appearance or what ethnicity they are.

- none of the teachers care as long as Melba and the eight others go to class that's all that matters. No one hears them out or took their side.And none of the teachers help when their students are beingbullied or harassed. This shows a lack of protection for the little rock nine.

- The student trashed her seat making her have to sit in the front of the class but the student got mad and told her to sit in the back to sit on the trash ut she refused and so they went to the teacher who take their side. This is unjust that lack of fairness.
- when melba house was invaded by people
- melba was walking home from school one day when she notice a man started following melba and then he grad melba started harassing her. But then one minnijean helps melba get away from the man. This is racism and sexual harassment which can also cause lots of trauma.
- This was when melba and her mom were on the way to the school but there were a lot of white supremacist people at the school not letting them enter the school but instead, they chased melba and her mom to their car. This is racism
- when the Grandma India was always at the front door waiting for something to happen when she heard people scattering around her home that when Grandma India shot warning shots warning them not to get too close and waking everyone in the house. This is criminal harassment it's when someone harasses you in your own home. came to
