The three goddesses offered Paris gifts. Athena offered him the victory of war. Aphrodite offered him marriage of the most beautiful woman in the world who is a goddess named Helen. Hera offered to make him the ruler of the world. Paris chose Aphrodite's offer.
Paris abducted Helen and took her to Troy. The Greeks were very mad that Paris took Helen from them, so they traveled to Troy to try to get Helen back. The encounter ship between the Greeks and the Troys led to the ten year Trojan War.
A warrior named Odysseus decided that they should build a big wooden horse for all of the warriors to stay in over night and trick their rivals into thinking that they were going back to Greece.
The warriors traveled to Troy in the horse than when they got to the cities gates, the Greeks went in the city and sacked the city and the Greeks won the Trojan War after ten years.
