Storyboard Text

  • The Escape
  • Hey Jimmy! Remember me? I'm stuck in prison for Jaywalking, and I need to get out.  I thought of you because I remember you made ziplines.
  • I remember you indeed Oswald. Wow, you jaywalked? What a horrible crime. Well, I can do the job, but the zip line cannot be more than 60 feet long. I also need to know the height of the prison and the distance of the prison to the drop-off point.
  • Jimmy's Ziplines
  • Two Days Later...
  • The height of the prison is 40 feet and the distance between the prison and the drop-off point is 30 feet. So, would the zip line be 10 feet, because 40-30=10?
  • Jimmy's Ziplines
  • Uh... not exactly. I will have to figure out this problem using the Pythagorean Theorem. This is because the height of the prison, distance of the prison and zip line base, and the zipline form a right triangle. So, I can use the formula and the height and the distance to find the length. I will figure it out and call you tomorrow. If it is not greater than 60 feet, you will be free in no time.
  • I'm free!
