  • This is a violation of international law and Jay's Treaty! 
  • We've brought the American sailors to fight in our war against France.
  • Causes: Native American/USA War
  • We are more prepared now with the new supplies Britain sent us. Now we can fight the Americans!
  • Major Events: Burning of the White House
  • Now that their capitol has been destroyed, their government might collapse!!!
  • Britain forced American sailors to fight in the war between Britain and France, violating Jay's Treaty declaring peace and neutrality between the nations.
  • Major Events: Battle of Fort McHenry
  • Britain sent supplies to the Native Americans, angering the Americans who were fighting the Natives. 
  • Major Events: Battle of New Orleans
  • Britain burned down the White House in hopes that they would be unable to maintain balance and order in the government and economy.
  • Treaty of Ghent
  • Today marks a new future of peace, balance, and freedom
  • After Britain destroyed Fort McHenry, Francis Scott Key noticed that their flag still waved in all the defeat. This led to writing of our Star Spangled Banner.
  • Wow! Even with all this violence, our flag is still standing tall and proud!
  • This battle marked the end of the War of 1812 and the victory of the Americans.
  • This officially ended the war and declared peace between the nations, finalizing America's independence from Britain.
